After a wedding, a Hawaiian honeymoon, the holidays, and an exciting school year (that's almost at its finish line), I'm back!  I couldn't be more ready to get back to supplying all your party, house, and fun surprise needs.  I'm even pondering (ok, more like SERIOUSLY considering) dipping my toes into the home decoration business.  There is nothing that makes my heart happy than a good before and after.  I promise to keep you posted.

In the meantime, happy shopping!  Please let me know if I can help outfit your next party (or room :).  Thanks for stopping by.

April Showers Bring May Flowers {and super discounts}

Now, I don't know about your neck of the woods, but around our parts the weather has been a bit up in the air. We have glorious sunshine-y days followed by nasty spring showers (the kind that are perfect for sleeping).  I'm a bit ready for sunny weather to be here to stay.

Now, back to my original thought--what better way to welcome beautiful capri-wearing weather than with a fabulous discount??  With all the gift-giving occassions coming up (Mother's Day, graduation, wedding and baby showers, end of the year teachers' gifts, etc...), we could all stand to save a dollar or two.  Now, I promise you'll enjoy this shopping much more than those crazy coupon-clippers on Extreme Couponing (if only I had the patience).

I am so excited to introduce my favorite new product--a perfect for serving, displaying, collecting, gathering, or anything else your heart desires PLATTER.  I may have already ordered one for my coffee table.  Another one night be on its way to hold mail in the kitchen...

Anyways, the new platters are available for $34 and can be customized anyway you like them.  There are actually 17,340 combinations (I thought I would put my benchmark test practicing with combinations in a set to work).  I guarantee there's one for you!

::Order between now and April 22nd and take 15% off your platter order::

Order before Wednesday to guarantee a Mother's Day delivery!

A Few Snow Days

It's snow day #4 here in Arkansas.
Yes, you read that right #4.  In a row.  Now, I am a teacher who absolutely, positively ADORES snow days.
However, and honestly, I can't believe I'm even entertaining this thought, but I am getting a bit stir crazy.

I've painted and cleaned and watched an unhealthy amount of trashy Bravo TV and seen some great movies and eaten lots of snow day food and am finally (dare I say it?) bored.

And it's snowing AGAIN.  And supposed to snow again just a whole lot of days next week.  I'm dreaming of summer and sand between my toes.  Those days seem a loooong time away.  And they probably are since we will be in school until who knows when.

But I have decided to enjoy this last Friday off.  It's going to be a good one--I can feel it!

Lunch with this favorite friend at our favorite restaurant.

Dinner and a movie with this favorite guy.

The movie is all my pick.  I'm thinking we should see The King's Speech.

{Happy snow day!}

A Fresh Start

So my blogging of late has been a bit sub-par.  My sincerest apologizes.  Instead of recapping all the fun I've been up to lately, I am going to claim a fresh start.  A new beginning, if you will.  I think I'll be needing a new date book just to remind myself of all the fun things that will transpire in 2011.

{just to whet your whistle}
finishing my second year as a 3rd grade teacher
celebrating a few important birthdays (one, first birthday which is especially exciting)
getting hitched to my favorite guy
taking a relaxing vacation to Hawaii
moving to a new place
finishing the transformation of said new place (aka the "bachelorpad")
growing this little business
...and a whole lot more

I can't wait!

personalized fill-in planners (begin any day of the year) - $55

Comfy Shopping

Even though it has yet to snow here in Northwest Arkansas (every teacher's dream), Old Man Winter is here in all his glory.  This cold, dreary weather has me in the mood to do a little shopping (more like browsing these days) from the comfort of my own home.

A few of my personal favorites:

J. Crew - {even if it is a little funky for me lately} - always lovely

Lettergirl stamps on etsy - a hit Christmas gift for my sister

camera straps by Cotton Candy by Natalie - one of my all-time favorite gifts from this girl

{currently redoing the bachelor pad for my move-in in October}
can't go wrong with Ballard

I wish I had a child just so I could dress him/her in these designs by my friend the girl I stalk.

and since my monogram's about to change...
I think I'll be needing a set or two (or three or four...who am I kidding?) of plates.

Now, on to the a few of my favorite pattern selections.
I'm torn.
{Maybe I need six sets after all...}

One Year Ago Today

Sweet Baby Hayes was born...

and I became Aunt Jen!

He's the cutest monkey around.
I may be a bit partial...

{Happy Birthday Hayes!}
